Symantec - Reset Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Password

If you forget your Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager password, you can reset the password, as long you can access to the Server.

1. Go to this path C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools (see Picture 1)
2.  Double click on resetpass.bat

Password will be reset to:

User name : admin

Password  : admin

You can modify batch file by right click on resetpass.bat and click on Edit (see picture 2)

This tips work for Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0. 

You can configure Admin Password by following this link Symantec Endpoint Protection: The Administrator account is locked. You can unlock, disable expire time and change the SEPM password from this console.
